ALL ABOUT VENUS

Venus in Gemini – I Wanna Hold Your Hand

“You know the reason The Beatles made it so big?…’I Wanna Hold Your Hand.’ First single. Fucking brilliant. Perhaps the most fucking brilliant song ever written. Because they nailed it. That’s what everyone wants. Not 24/7 hot wet sex. Not a marriage that lasts a hundred years. Not a Porsche…or a million-dollar crib.  And every single successful love story has those unbearable and unbearably exciting moments of hand-holding.”

When Venus is in Gemini, people start to be open to holding each other’s hands. She is the one that turned Eros into words, the first one to wrote love songs and letters, or fantasized on the canvas with the brush. A born artist, an artista without the need to prove herself, and why would she do that when it is easy? Probably that is why, in life, she entertains that which was hard or repulsive at first, while the easiness she has she guards like the most precious part of herself. And how can she decide? Should her entertain languages or drawing? Music or mathematics, psychology or arts history, how can she choose when she enjoys everything equally, and with ease. This is that child whom no one has seen with a book, ever, and yet it knows all the answers. That is why she works in  economics oftenly , finances and banking, marketing… She is a PR and HR, even without prior education. She will get some degree, with ease, without hustle, and with ease she will get a job. She will never forget about her hobbies. She will nurture them in parallel, and with charm and ease she will know when to use something from her wast trove of knowledge, discreetly and with style. She doesn’t want to leave the impression of an arrogant know-it-all, she wants to be the thick pure essence which will make the atmosphere of a potentially dull business meeting into a sweet chitchat .

Why do we lose ourselves and lie during hard and serious conversations, when we can laugh? Why should we need to prove that pain equals love, when the rest of the world does it so nicely?

What sort of a secret and truth is this that this Venus holds, we ask ourselves while we watch how she seduces effortlessly, the way she easily communicates with everyone, how she is loved without insisting on it, when it is enough for her to love her omnipresence. The only thing she hasn’t learn yet is how to be at two places at the same time, but she doesn’t lose hope. Merry like a child, with the charm of an adventurer and artistically like one of those renaissance artists she plays with perfectionism which all that it asks is all that it gives. A smile for a smile, a kiss for a kiss, a touch for a touch, a favor for a favor. While the world splits to modernists and traditionalists, the ones who tour museums only and those who strafe all around the shopping malls, she is equally happy where ever she is. The important thing is that she is with people. For the story to flow, for the laughter to be heard. Curious to know all, from gossip to historical fact, to philosophize about food and hum a tune while she writes reports and science studies, to love equally male and female, in a deal with the cosmos. She is open without prejudice to hear your life story, and to tell you hers. But don’t bother her with your opinions, attitudes, convictions… She can’t stand ideals, although she can be endlessly entertained with your over zealous understanding of your role in the world. Because world is a circus, an eternal fest, where we are all winners and losers, where you give some and you lose some, where something gets taken away from you and you sometimes snatch something from someone, where you are all stuck. And in the end, thank you for the game, see ya, when we see each other. If we see each other.

While she was little she learned those techniques of human weaknesses. Yes, we all have them and that is why  she have the most trust in herself. You will recognize her in the street, even if she is alone. She smiles like she just had talked to someone,  penisive just enough to figure out why are you carrying a big red bag, what the way you walk says about you, how you gesticulate, walk. She will notice the slightest change on you. The master of practical psychology, walk and talk adviser who will, like it is a completely normal thing, right there give your a few tips how to the situation that frustrates you make better.

She knows how you can be what you are without the effort to fit in. Easiness is the marker. When the cosmos entwines fingers, and then untwines, or unties. She communicates with the universe the most, she follows the signs and loves the flirt with the cosmos.

She is independent and the world is her oyster. She walks the wide avenues and thick brushes, she rejoices to the elephant and to the chickens equally, she even has something from D&G in her closet, a thingy she picked up on a flea market in London for two quid. She doesn’t worry about money, she knows she will always earn enough. But what she doesn’t know? Will someone hold her hand. This is the only place where she fears and trembles, where she hugs herself and  tightens her fists. It is the only thing she dreams of, because she doesn’t want to walk alone. All those poems and letters she wants to send to someone. All that knowledge she has she wants to pour down on someone, on his head, in front of his feet and into his heart. And in return, he just needs to hold his hand and never let go.
